L'œil du cyclone #032024C
Acrylic on wood
Dimensions 12'' x 12'' x 1,5''
"The Eye of the Cyclone" captures the suspended moment when nature seems to hold its breath in the face of the immense power of unleashed elements. This small, blackened tree, solitary and vulnerable, is confronted by a menacing cyclonic eye formed by swirling clouds. The artwork, with its use of shades of blue and gray, and the striking contrast with the tree, evokes the inevitable confrontation between the fragility of life and the relentless force of climate disasters. It is a painting that speaks of powerlessness in the face of the grandeur of storms that are increasingly frequent on our planet. Yet, even in this scene of desolation and tension, there remains a glimmer of resilience, a refusal to completely give in.
