Terre de feu # 022024B

Acrylic & crackle paste

Dimensions 24'' x 12'' x 1,5''

"Terre de feu" immerses us in a scene where the elements seem to converge toward a breaking point. Dominated by shades of grey, white, and black, the landscape portrays desolation, where charred trees stand as silent witnesses to destruction. Heavy, menacing clouds advance over the slopes, covering terrain where water below faintly reflects a small yellow glow. This glow, weak but present, spreads through the cracks, symbolizing the fragility of our world in the face of threatening forces. The crackling paste at the bottom of the work enhances the sense that everything is collapsing, yet a glimmer of hope remains. This piece is a poignant metaphor for the precarious state of our environment and the urgent need to act to prevent such a collapse.
